We will be visiting an existing restoration effort on Spawn Creek in the Logan River watershed and observing how beaver are interacting with the recovery process as an example of how passive restoration and conservation may include beaver activity. Why We're Covering It Actual examples are much more tangible than verbal or pictoral descriptions in the class room. The added information of actual field visits cannot be under estimated and should be included in any restoration design effort. |
